iPeriod Ultimate (Period / Menstrual Calendar) App Reviews

App could be better

Ive downloaded this app on my Mac OS, so I could have a complete edition on computer, and have all data available on my iPhone. What a surprise that does not syncronize with iPhone, unless you buy the full mobile version as well… I think this is awful, and they should provide a license for all medias, not one license per machine. Please, if do have a way to get the full version per MAC to use on iPhone, let me know

Simply excellent!

I have this on my iPhone for free and I did not hesitate to buy it for my Mac. It is excellent! I keep track of periods and ovulation, a really important tool for every woman. Highly recommended for women who are interested in their reproductive health!

Amazing!

This is an amazing app! the organization, and overall look is great! Great Great Great App! I

Replaces the old pen and paper methods

Not a bad app for tracking. Not using it for Fertility myself, but great for predicting future cycles for events. Helps to track symptoms as well so you can discuss things with your doctor if they get worse or not.

Great concept but too many crashes

All the features and capabilities are great. You can track your fertile dates and see when your next period might be. Its nice as a record keeper. There is plenty of room to take notes. The downfall is it crashes several times a day on me. It seems like Ive spent most of my time on the program sending error reports.

iPeriod Ultimate Calendar on my MacBook

One of the more useful apps, to me. Hated the pen/paper method. This app is clean, efficient, and practical for my doctor to see proof of my cycles. I would recommend iPeriod for any woman to keep a baseline of her menstrual history. Its quick and easy to use. Worth the few dollars.

Simple, Accurate, Attractive

I love it!!! I have to admit I only use it track my periods and it is spot on, no pun intended, from the first month I installed it. I do not use it for ovulation and symptom tracking really other than heavy or light. straight forward, easy to use, cant complain.

Doenst work well on Macbook (pro)

Im a sucker for anything related to health. This app works for moods, marking days but when it comes to fertility it doenst work! That was a major reason I paid for this... and it doenst work.

Retina Display Compatibility Please

Great app, I agree with all the 5 star ratings. Why are there still so many apps that look terrible on the retina display though?? Please update!! Also has already crashed within 5 minutes of using it...

wont sync

I have used the iphone app for years and when I recently got my macbook air I tried to sync them as it says that you can, but it never worked. I dont want to have to put my information in twice, that would be a complete waste of time.

crashes!

ive had this app for 20 minutes and it has crashed at least 5 times already. very frustrating. i do like the app though. it would be very useful if it would stay open….

GARBAGE

I just bought it and it keeps closing. Complete garbage, to think I paid for this stupid thing!!!

Doesnt sync with mobile version

Not able to sync with mobile version, making it useless.

useable but graph feature is odd and why "love connection"

Ive been using this app on my computer and phone for a few years and I generally like it - it does what its supposed to and lets you track a good variety of smptoms and other things. The phone app version seems to have more options though. The graphs showing weight, cycle length, and so on could be really great and useful features but their intervals are kind of weird which makes them less user friendly than they could be. For example on my current month long weight graph the weight axis goes 151.2, 157.3, 163.3... so intervals of about 6 lbs? Why not graph by one day/week/month intervals on one axis and 5 or 2 lb intervals on the other, which would be easier to recognize and follow. The thing I find most bizarre about this app is that the heart icon you can use to mark days you have sex is labled "love connection" which I find to be a super embarassing euphamism for adult women to use for sexual intercourse... Do they think that someone using an app that lets you track the consistency of your cervical mucus in graphic terms cant deal with the word sex?! Kind of insulting...

Meh

Kind of annoyed. It crashed 4 times so far in the last hour. What I’m wondering is can I switch months in my calendar? I’d like to go back a few months but it’s stuck on the current month.

Very, very slow!

The program is very slow, frequent freezes for 5-20 secs in calendar.

Syncing Across Devices Works Great!

I didnt quite understand the syncing steps since theyre not automatic yet. So I emailed the developer and they responded the same day with specific directions for manual syncing (and said theyre working on making it an automatic process)! The manual process worked quickly and flawlessly! I can input my data into the iPhone and sync with my Mac version. Going to buy the iPad version now! The forum is very informative, too!

Needs improved sync, then 5 stars

I have been using this app on my iPod Touch for years, and love it! It has all the features that I want and need, and I use it daily. The ony thing that it needs now is better sync between Mac and iOS versions. The current sync is awkward, clumsy and time-consuming - definitely needs major improvement. Otherwise absolutely perfect! Keep up the great work!!

Love connection … really?

Can we please just all be adults and call it sex? "Love connection" is insultingly euphemistic. Please give us the option of changing this!

Awesome product!!!

I just downloaded this app and I really like the feel and look. Ive been messing around with it for a bit over an hour and I have my next expected period already mapped out. So love it.
